november's monthly devotion

The Holy Souls

November is dedicated to praying for the Holy Souls in Purgatory, the faithful who have died and are being lovingly prepared to enter the joy of Heaven. Beginning with All Saints Day and All Souls Day, the whole month is a gentle reminder that love does not end with death. Even little ones can help by praying for loved ones by name, lighting a candle, or visiting a cemetery together.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them

The easiest way to weave the monthly devotion into your school day.

Every monthly devotion in our Catholic Morning Menu includes a themed cover page, a Bible memory verse, a short Catechism question, and a traditional hymn in both Latin and English.
