Happy almost-weekend, friends!

This week we get to celebrate two people the Gospels never even name — and yet without them, none of the rest of the story happens. Saints Joachim and Anne, the parents of Mary and the grandparents of Jesus, remind us that most of holiness isn't dramatic. It's showing up, day after ordinary day, and raising a child in love.
