december's monthly devotion
The Immaculate Conception
December is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of Mary, the beautiful truth that God preserved Mary free from sin from the very first moment of her life, preparing her to be the mother of Jesus. As we journey through Advent toward Christmas, this devotion invites us to make our own hearts ready and pure to welcome the newborn King.
O Mary, conceived without sin,
pray for us who have recourse to thee
The easiest way to weave the monthly devotion into your school day.
Every monthly devotion in our Catholic Morning Menu includes a themed cover page, a Bible memory verse, a short Catechism question, and a traditional hymn in both Latin and English.
